A visit to our friendly, professional hygienists will ensure your teeth and gums are kept in the best possible condition. Plaque and tartar build-up can lead to bad breath, gum disease and tooth loss. The hygienist will professionally clean your teeth (scale & polish) and will also give oral health advice and instruction on how best to keep your teeth plaque free. All of our hygienists are fully qualified and are registered with the General Dental Council. Air Polishing
Wellmeadow dental practice is also delighted to offer our patients an air polishing service. Air polishing is very effective at gently removing staining and discolouration to restore your teeth to their natural whiteness. Air polish applies a jet of air, water and fine powder particles to quickly and effectively remove unwanted stains caused by tea, coffee, red wine and tobacco on the back and front of your teeth.
The advantages over traditional methods of dental polishing are as follows:
